About the product
Made from beech wood, Pet's Dream EXTRA Complete Wood Granulate is specially designed to meet the needs of different bird species, reptiles and small animals.
Beech chips are dust-free, which makes them well suited for quail and other animals with sensitive airways.
Beech chips absorb moisture without turning mushy, ensuring a natural and hygienic environment.
I recommend using beech chips in the area around water dispensers because of their absorbent properties, and because they are not stirred up into the water as easily as lighter shavings can be.
Uses
Medium beech chips work best as floor bedding indoors in the quail house, or in the bottom of cages.
I often mix beech chips with regular shavings and shell sand for a more varied environment for the animals.
They can be used for all species, large and small.
